In its first step, Kiora Bests the Sea God lets you set down a hexproof - immune to all and any spells - Kraken creature that packs a not-too-shabby power of 8/8
While this card can be strong in the right deck, there may be better options depending on the specific strategy of the deck, such as cards that provide more immediate impact or offer better synergy with the overall game plan
While 10 mana is a lot, starting with an indestructible, hexproof Dragonlord's Fervent in the command zone is a pretty sweet deal, and if you ever actually cast The Ur-Dragon, it should only take a single attack to close out the game
The one thing I'll say about this archetype is that I've always appreciated how very pure it is
