Extremely dark, deep and rich, this wine exudes tobacco, licorice, black fruits and ripe plum. The wine has savoury notes highlighted by black tea and herbaceousness, finishing on a note of black pepper and bacon fat. The light tannins are soft and round. Its hard to make a comparison between this wine and commonly known vitis vinifera, but if I had to name one, I would think of Petit Verdot. (CWC, 06 04 22).
