I've gotten into playing the Pokemon TCG recently, and while I do think there's been a bit too much power creep, I would be interested in seeing some features ported to the GB game
The card is so popular that it has been the target of heists, including a brazen burglary of a New Bedford, Massachusetts collectibles shop that occurred in July of 2025 (most of the cards were luckily returned!)
As a reminder, the set contains both Commander/Eternal-legal cards, and Acorn (previously known as Silver-Bordered) cards not legal in any sanctioned format
Unfortunately, Secret Rendezvous also requires a target opponent to draw three cards
Sadly, it still wont likely be competitive for tourneys
Here's where English box pricing stands in 2026: MSRP: $119.76 per English booster box (24 packs $4.99) Launch-week scalper prices: Typically $140$175 for popular sets Normalized secondary market price (6090 days post-release): Usually $100$130 Japanese booster boxes (imported): $42$50 USD through reputable importers The key takeaway: if you're buying for casual play or value-hunting, waiting 6090 days after a set's English release almost always brings prices back toward or below MSRP
