Their ink is said to be drying . Ive found it handy to place characters that are drying to the side of my other cards, and I make it a point to move them over and up to join my other characters at the beginning of each round once they dry
That said, there is some sideboard tech to try and help
All in all, five mana for something that doesnt do anything on its own is expensive, especially considering you need both creatures and draw effects to make this work, but the payoff is definitely worth it for a focused strategy
