Moire Vase Pre-order drawn from the same poppyThe Moire Vase reads as a finely ridged, almost woven surface, an effect that comes from how it is made rather than something applied afterward. It is built by 3D printing stoneware in thin, stacked layers, and the print path leaves a faint watered pattern where those layers overlap. Because that pattern comes directly from the printing process, marks and slight variation occur from one piece to the next.
